Yesterday, Soundset 2010 went off at Canterbury Park in Shakopee. The Hidden booth was filled with laughs, fresh gear, rappers and $1.35 hugs. It couldn’t get much better then that. Grieves rocked a BCOD fitted for his first show in MN on Rhymesayers. The after party at First Ave was definitely a once in a life time event. Every spring we head out on to hunt the elusive morel mushroom. This year Tyler and I were joined by my dad, Tyler’s mom and Alex. It was as successful as last year, but we still managed to have a good time. Click here for the rest of the photos Alex shot. I think the last one may be my xmas card!

Last night Johnny Cupcakes stopped by Robot Love in Minneapolis on his ‘Back to Basics’ tour. The tour consists of pop-up shops where the Cupcakes crew slangs product out of suitcases, just as Johnny did getting started. Johnny and his crew were all super laid back. I remember when I stumbled upon Johnny Cupcakes somehow while researching the Celtics during the Garnett trade talk. Since then, he has opened a new shop in LA and continues to add new products to his line up. If you are not yet a fan, then you definitely should check him out. The guy is driven and full of amazing ideas!
